THE TEMPLE

Tucked away and nestled just north of central Taos, NM is the House of Serpents, a home and temple curated and stewarded by Baelyn Elspeth. Held by the Sangre de Cristo mountains and Pueblo lands, it has received its coined name due to the gentle presence of snake medicine around the land. It is a space to hold community, local and from far and wide, for ceremony and ritual offerings. With a majestic view and backdrop of “Pueblo Peak”, this land is home to an array of wildlife and potent energy, a place where our prayers are amplified by the vastness of the sky and anchored by the medicine of the mountain. The House is a space for prayer and communion, tea and stillness, ritual and practice. There are select offerings hosted here throughout the year in collaboration with likeminded practitioners from our ever growing worldwide community.

We would love to extend a personal invitation to you to step through the threshold into ceremony and ritual with us this coming fall in Taos, NM. In the depth of this Serpentine year, we enter into the season of Scorpio, a most auspicious time to dive into the cavernous waters, and as we move toward the Samhain and De los Muertos portal, it is potent to immerse ourselves in ceremony and ritual - clearing our mind and womb space for our lineages 7 generations back, so that we can continue to birth a clearer pathway for the generations to come.
